About this site’s exposure pathways: As of December 2024, there is insufficient data to assess the site-wide Human Exposure Control status at the Cam-Or Inc. Site due to the incompletion of the vapor intrusion (VI) investigation. The results of the VI investigation will be utilized to determine possible exposure pathways from soil gas, indoor air, and utility conduits. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requested the potentially responsible parties (PRPs) expand the investigation to include indoor air sampling concurrently with soil gas sampling. The PRPs are not in agreement with EPA’s request. This issue must be resolved so that the VI investigation can move forward. EPA anticipates this issue will be resolved soon and sufficient data will be available by the end of December 2025 at which time a determination may be made.
