About this site’s exposure pathways: As of September 2024, there is insufficient information to determine the site-wide Human Exposure Control status at the Franklin Street Groundwater Contamination Superfund Site. A Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study (RI/FS) will be needed to fully characterize the nature and extent of contamination and to determine exposure and potential risk from any contamination identified at the site. The RI/FS began in March 2024 and initial soil and vapor intrusion sampling has been conducted. Groundwater sampling is expected to begin 2024.
