About this site’s exposure pathways: As of March 2023, there is insufficient data to determine the Human Exposure status at the Aberdeen Proving Ground (Michaelsville Landfill) Superfund Site. VI and MMRP Remedial Investigation is complete. A Preliminary Assessment and Site Investigation for PFAS is currently underway. Once there is sufficient information to make an evaluation on human exposure at this site, a determination will be made and the status updated accordingly. The Army is the lead cleanup agency at the site and is conducting cleanup under EPA oversight.
