About this site’s exposure pathways: As of July 2025, there is not sufficient information available to determine the site-wide Human Exposure Control status at the St. Regis Paper Co. Superfund Site. EPA has determined that data is needed within Operable Unit 7 (OU7) of the Site to demonstrate whether contaminated roadway dust is causing any unacceptable exposures to residents within OU7. Currently, no data is available to ascertain whether there are potential exposures, and future data collection efforts are anticipated as part of Remedial Design sampling for the 2020 Record of Decision. This sampling is intended to assess the potential for recontamination of the remediated properties at the site and assess if a more permanent solution is needed to avoid re-contamination.
