Exposure status: insufficient data

About this site’s exposure pathways: As of August 2025, there is insufficient information to make a site-wide determination of Human Exposure Under Control at the Eagle Industries Superfund site. The site was proposed to the National Priorities List on August 3, 2017, and was listed as final on the NPL on January 18, 2018. The remedial investigation began on August 9, 2018, with the issuance of a cooperative agreement granting the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ) the lead for investigation activities. Phase I and Phase IIaA of the Remedial Investigation have been conducted, and Phase IIB is ongoing, with completion projected by May 1, 2026. It is anticipated that sufficient data will be available to make a Human Exposure determination upon the completion of the RI in May 2026, as the ongoing remedial investigation activities continue to further characterize the site and evaluate potential exposure pathways.

Data limitations: Proximity to a Superfund site boundary does not mean your property is contaminated. EPA site boundaries show the area designated for cleanup, not the full extent of contamination. Groundwater plumes can extend beyond site boundaries. This tool shows publicly available EPA federal data. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by EPA, and is not a substitute for a professional environmental assessment.
